Step 2 : Answer to the question "The island of Murano in Venice, Italy, is famous for which craft?"

Glass blowing - Murano glass is world-famous for its vibrant colors and funky shapes, the result of a glass-blowing process that dates back to the Roman times. The glassmaking history of this sleepy island near Venice started in 1291, when the Venetian government ordered the city’s glassmakers to move their craft there to avoid the possibility of fire outbreak in the main part of the city. The artisans then rediscovered the remnants of ancient Roman glassware and perfected their technique, in which minerals are added to the molten glass to give it a different hue. Multiple colors are blown together at one time, by mouth, to make patterned glass. This is then hand-shaped into beautiful objects. If you visit Venice, make sure to head to Murano Island to see the master craftsmen at work — and perhaps pick up a priceless souvenir to take home.:
