Step 2 : Answer to the question "Where is the saltiest body of water on Earth?"

Ethiopia - If you thought the Great Salt Lake was salty, then you’ve never floated in Gaet’ale Pond in Ethiopia. While the average percentage of salt by weight is 3.38% in the world’s oceans, this small body of water measures a whopping 43.3%. In contrast, the Great Salt Lake’s saline content varies from 5 to 27 percent, while the Dead Sea, another famously salty body of water, measures 34 percent. Until 2017, the saltiest body of water on Earth was thought to be Don Juan Pond, a shallow Antarctic lake that lies in the dry Upper Wright Valley of the continent — with a salinity of 40.2%, it’s so salty that it never freezes. Ethiopia’s Gaet’ale Pond is unique in that it has no inlet or outlet; it sits above a hot spring near the Dallol crater in the Danakil Depression and measures a maximum of 200 feet long and 130 feet wide. :
