[Answer] After California, what state has the most wineries?

Step 1 : Introduction to the question "After California, what state has the most wineries?"

...1. Texas 2. Washington 3. New York 4. Vermont

Step 2 : Answer to the question "After California, what state has the most wineries?"

Washington - Move over, Golden State, you got some competition. Okay, it actually isn't even a close competition at all, but if you're looking at a list of what states produce the most wine, Washington is in a crisp second place. California has just over 4,800 wineries, while it northern neighbors of Washington and Oregon have about 1,000 and 700, respectively. In another context, California produces over 783,000,000 gallons while Washington only has 34,700,000. Might as well hit both spots on your next West Coast trip. :
