Step 2 : Answer to the question "How did Aaron make the calf idol for the Israelites?"

Golden rings - The Israelites had ample opportunities to see God’s mercy at work in their lives. He’d rescued them from slavery in Egypt and led them across the Red Sea on dry land. He’d met their needs by sending bread and meat from heaven. He’d even made water come out of a rock. But when Moses headed up Mount Sinai to meet with God, the Israelites quickly forgot all the ways God had provided for them. Moses was gone a little too long for their liking and the Israelites gathered themselves together. “Hey, Aaron,” they demanded. “We don’t know what’s become of Moses, so we need a new leader. Make us a god that we can see.” We’re not sure exactly what Aaron was thinking, but he told the people to take the rings of gold out of their ears and noses and bring them to him. Out of these rings, Aaron fashioned a golden calf. Then he built an altar and proclaimed a day of feasting. God’s righteous anger was kindled but he upheld his gracious covenant promises when Moses intervened.:
