Stonehenge - Stonehenge, located in Wiltshire, England, is a prehistoric monument, the symbolism of which is hotly debated to this day. Set in the lovely English countryside, Stonehenge is a ring of stones that are all close to 13 feet high and seven feet wide. The stones weigh around 25 tons each and the ring was estimated to have been built somewhere between 3000 BC and 2000 BC. These stones are not native to the region and were brought in from west Wales, some 160 miles away. The site also contains burial mounds dating back as far as 4000 BC that may give some clue as to the purpose of the monument in the Neolithic Age.:
