[Answer] What is the highest point in the Americas?

Step 1 : Introduction to the question "What is the highest point in the Americas?"

...1. Denali, Alaska 2. Coropuna, Peru 3. Mount Aconcagua, Argentina 4. Mount Logan, Canada

Step 2 : Answer to the question "What is the highest point in the Americas?"

Mount Aconcagua, Argentina - Look up there — it’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s Mount Aconcagua! Standing 22,831 feet above sea level, Mount Aconcagua — located in western Argentina near the Chilean border — is the highest point in the Western Hemisphere. In comparison, the highest peak in North America, Denali, is 20,308 feet tall. Called the “Sentinel of Stone,” the double summits of Aconcagua are connected by a half-mile-long ridge. In 1897, Matthias Zurbiggen was the first to summit the highest of these peaks in the north. Must have been a piece of cake for the Swiss mountain climber with the Alps in his backyard.:
