Step 2 : Answer to the question "What is this romantic seaside town?"

Polignano a Mare, Italy - This charming Italian town is located on the site of the ancient Greek city of Neapolis. Although little of that now long-gone city remains, Polignano a Mare retains some of its Roman influences, including an ancient bridge that is still used to this day. The town is known for the beautiful cliffs it's built on, which offer stunning views and are dotted with hidden caves. People also enjoy diving off them into the pure, crystal blue water of the Adriatic Sea. For amazing architecture, head inland and spend a day exploring the town's winding streets. The buildings in Old Town are spectacular and are rich with history. The food there is excellent with seafood being a local specialty, but the thing residents pride themselves on most is their ice cream. There are few things more heavenly than a scoop of Polignano a Mare ice cream after a long summer day immersed in history.:
