[Answer] What is the smallest Hawaiian island?

Step 1 : Introduction to the question "What is the smallest Hawaiian island?"

...1. Maui 2. Niihau 3. Kahoolawe 4. Oahu

Step 2 : Answer to the question "What is the smallest Hawaiian island?"

Kahoolawe - Everyone knows Maui, Oahu, and, of course, the Big Island. But do you know Kahoolawe? At only 12 miles long and 45 square miles, the island is far and away the smallest. Apart from the three islands previously mentioned, the other four that make up the Hawaiian archipelago are Molokai, Lanai, Niihau, and Kauai. The largest of Hawaii’s islands, the Big Island, stretches 4,028 square miles, while the next smallest in size, Niihau, is 69.5 square miles. Kahoolawe is the only one of the main eight that is uninhabited, which is probably for the best, as it’s believed that, due to the island once serving as a military training site, unexploded ammunition may still be present. The U.S. Navy is in the process of clearing the island, and the state of Hawaii hopes to completely restore it within the coming years.:
