[Answer] How many of the 10 plagues on Egypt involved insects?

Step 1 : Introduction to the question "How many of the 10 plagues on Egypt involved insects?"

...If you suffer from entomophobia (fear of insects), you wouldn't have wanted to be in Egypt during the 10 plagues. Three of the plagues God sent involved insects. After water turned to blood and frogs descended, the third plague to hit was gnats. God told Moses to stretch out his staff and strike the dust of the earth, which became millions of gnats covering man and beast. The very next plague, number four, was flies. God sent swarms of flies to fill the houses of the Egyptians, and the ground on which they stood. Flies swarmed on Pharaoh and his people. But God made a distinction between Egypt and the area where the Israelites lived, Goshen, and no flies swarmed in Goshen. Plague number eight was locusts. God sent locusts to cover the land so thickly that no one could even see the ground. The locusts ate every bit of green plant that was left after the plague of hail hit. But despite the devastating effects of the insects, Pharaoh's heart was hard and he still refused to let the Israelites go free.
