Meanwhile, Peter showed up at Mary's house in the midst of their prayers for him. He knocked, and Rhoda, the servant girl, rose to answer the door. Hearing Peter's voice on the other side shocked her and filled her with so much joy that she ran back to tell the others instead of opening the door.
