[Answer] What product did Nintendo produce in 1889?

Step 1 : Introduction to the question "What product did Nintendo produce in 1889?"

...The video game and gaming console giant Nintendo has its roots in Japan, dating back to the 19th century. That's when Fusajiro Yamauchi, an artist and entrepreneur living in Kyoto, Japan, started a small business that produced playing cards. At the time, Japan had a ban against card games that dated back over 250 years. A type of playing card, called Hanafuda, developed around a loop hole in the law. The cards used illustrations instead of numbers. Yamauchi began producing Hanafuda cards. He called his shop Nintendo Koppai, eventually shortening the name to simply 'Nintendo.' Today, Nintendo is still going strong, nearly 130 years after it first began selling playing cards. Source: LifeWire.com
