The Bradbury Building is perhaps most famous as a set used in “Blade Runner,” although it also appeared in “(500) Days of Summer,” “Marlowe,” and other movies. The oldest commercial building left in LA’s central downtown, the five-story structure opened in 1893 as the brainchild of mining and real estate mogul Lewis Bradbury. Yet there’s some debate about the architect — although Bradbury commissioned Sumner Hunt to create the office building, he later appointed George H. Wyman, Hunt's draftsman, to complete the project. :
