Nestle supplied 1,850 bars of chocolate for the 2005 Tim Burton film. The book’s author, Roald Dahl, had his own chocolate obsession with a real chocolate manufacturer — Cadbury. When he was in public school, the company sent chocolate samples to his school for students to taste-test. Ever since then, Dahl dreamed of coming up with his own chocolate bar. Although he didn’t quite achieve that dream, he did create a whole fictional chocolate factory in his head, which one might argue is much sweeter. :
