Step 2 : Answer to the question "What city celebrates Christmas with a giant straw goat? "

Gävle, Sweden - The city of Gävle, Sweden, about 100 miles north of Stockholm, celebrates the start of the Christmas season with two peculiar traditions. The first is the building of a giant goat made out of straw, known as the Gävlebocken. The second is that someone in Gävle will almost certainly burn the goat down. Both traditions go back to 1966, when advertising consultant Stig Gavlén came up with the idea of building a straw goat — a traditional Yule decoration in Nordic countries — on a massive scale in the town square. The goat made it through Christmas, but went up in flames on New Year’s Eve. In subsequent years, the town has protected the straw goat with police, firemen, hired guards, security cameras, and even by coating it with flameproof chemicals. But over the past 50 years, it’s burned down about 35 times, an act of arson the town does not condone but that locals have come to more or less expect.:
