[Answer] Which king of the Old Testament had the longest reign?

Step 1 : Introduction to the question "Which king of the Old Testament had the longest reign?"

...The time of the kings in the Old Testament reveals a very divided kingdom. The land was split between two regions: Israel and Judah. Israel’s longest-reigning king was Jeroboam II, who ruled for 41 years. But King Manasseh of Judah enjoyed the longest reign in the Old Testament, serving for 55 years. In fact, he began his reign when he was just 12 years old. During his reign, Manasseh did not devoutly follow the ways of God. Instead, he “erected altars for Baal and made an Asherah, as Ahab king of Israel had done, and worshiped all the host of heaven and served them" (2 Kings 21:2-3). The Bible describes him as a truly evil king who led Israel to follow in his evil ways, causing destruction and disaster to Jerusalem. As punishment, God promised to bring destruction upon the kingdom.
