Step 2 : Answer to the question "Which film's cast was provided GPS locations by the director to find crates of food and supplies?"
"The Blair Witch Project" - The horror film, “The Blair Witch Project” (1999), went out of its way to push the actors to their limits. As they shot the film in the woods, the cast was most often out of touch with the director and crew who stayed near but out of sight. With nothing but a walkie-talkie to get ahold of them in case of an emergency, the actors were led to pre-dug crates of supplies using a GPS device. Staked with a red bicycle safety flag, the crates contained snacks, water, supplies, 35 mm film cans, director’s notes, and guides for the following day’s shoot. In turn, the actors left their daily footage in the crate and headed to the next location in the GPS where their tent was already set up by the crew. However, as the days waned, the actors were deprived more and more of food in order to really put them on edge. It’s safe to say the stunt worked, as the film went on to gross $250 million worldwide.:
