Step 2 : Answer to the question "Which major U.S. city is nicknamed "Stumptown"?"

Portland - The city of Portland, Oregon, has a variety of nicknames. There’s “City of Roses” and “Beervana,” however “Stumptown” is one of the more puzzling. The odd moniker dates to the mid-19th century, when Oregon’s population was booming. Some of the tree stumps were even painted and became minor local landmarks. The nickname “Stumptown” has been embraced by playful Portlanders for years — long outlasting the stumps themselves. It’s even the name of a coffee brand that originated in the city, as well as an ABC crime drama set there. Other cities in Indiana, Virginia, and West Virginia have also been nicknamed “Stumptown,” although Portland seems to be the biggest spot to have earned the distinctive title.:
