Step 2 : Answer to the question "What country is home to the world’s oldest continuously-operating business?"

Japan - Japan isn’t just home to the world’s oldest company — it’s home to the five oldest companies in existence. The oldest of them, Kongo Gumi, is headquartered in Osaka and was founded in 578 CE by a Korean immigrant commissioned to build a temple in Japan by Prince Shotoku. That engineer went on to found his own company, which spent the next several centuries constructing countless Buddhist temples. In 2006, Kongo Gumi was acquired by construction conglomerate Takamatsu following a downturn in the overall Japanese economy, so technically it’s no longer family-operated. But it can still boast a pretty incredible corporate resume — the Takamatsu website cites that “Kongo-Gumi boasts more than 1,400 years of corporate history working exclusively on temples and shrines.” Today you can find numerous temples that Kongo Gumi has built and restored throughout Japan.:
