This role took Michael to stardom and from there he starred in both "Back to the Future" sequels as well as over fifteen other movies, including "Teen Wolf", "Casualties of War" and "Mars Attacks". His voice was used in both "Homeward Bound" movies and three "Stuart Little" movies. Fox married actress Tracy Pollan in 1988. He was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease in 1991, but didn't share it publicly until 1998. The disease forced him to retire from the series "Spin City". He started the Michael J. Fox Foundation to help Parkinson's research and is an advocate of controversial stem-cell research, to possibly find a cure for the disease. Michael's mother, Phyllis also works and travels extensively to aid in fundraising for Parkinson's disease. In 2002, his memoir "Lucky Man" was published.
