South Korea - Cheese was not a regular part of the Korean diet until the 1950s, when a Belgian missionary who raised goats to make his own cheese introduced it to the people of the southern Imsil region. He passed on his skills, and "chijeu" (as it is known in Korea) quickly grew in popularity — so much so that a theme park devoted entirely to the delicious daily product opened there in 2004. At Imsil Cheese Theme Park, visitors can make and eat cheese and learn about the science behind caseiculture (that's the technical term for cheese making). The 32-acre park features cheese-shaped buildings and statues throughout and even has a slide that guests can ride to a Cheese Playland. :
