...Creator Wilfred Stijger, with help from 30 fellow sand sculptors, used a whopping 5,000 tons of sand to create a 69-foot-tall sandcastle in the seaside village of Blokhus, Denmark, back in 2021. According to Guinness, the structure is 10 feet higher than the previous record holder, which was built in Germany. In order to increase the castle’s durability, it was made of 10% clay and mixed with a layer of glue.
