Step 2 : Answer to the question "Which of these countries does not have an official capital city?"

Switzerland - There are countries in the world that have more than one capital like Bolivia, which has one for its national judiciary and another that serves as the seat of its executive and legislative branches, but only two countries claim no official capital at all. One of them is Nauru, a micronation in the Pacific Ocean that is home to approximately 10,000 people. The second is Switzerland. Its seat of government can be found in Bern and for that reason, it's often called the Federal City, but under Swiss law, no official capital is recognized. In the Middle Ages, separate cantons joined together in an alliance known as the Swiss Confederation. Although they stood together against foreign forces, they valued their independence. Therefore, when the cantons finally decided to create a federal constitution in 1848, it was agreed that the new country would have no official capital in order to not be seen as elevating any one canton above another.:
