It also featured comedy routines and once he even featured one of Jim Henson's Muppets, "Rowlf the Dog". In 1969, he and his brother, Don, founded the Jimmy Dean Sausage Company. Jimmy Dean died of natural causes at the age of 81, on June 13, 2010.
