[Answer] Which breakfast cereal was originally made with bits of other cereals?

Step 1 : Introduction to the question "Which breakfast cereal was originally made with bits of other cereals?"

...In 1986, Vernon J. Herzing, a facility manager for a Post factory in Battle Creek, Michigan, had an idea. He wanted to make a cereal out of everything Post was making at his facility already: C.W. Post, Toasties, Grape-Nuts Flakes, and Sugar Sparkled Flakes. After some tinkering, Herzing ended up with the product we know as Honey Bunches of Oats. The cereal hit the market in 1989, and has been a popular breakfast choice ever since.
