Chicago - In 1990, paleontologist Sue Hendrickson discovered Specimen FMNH PR 2081 in the Black Hills of South Dakota. The skeleton — nicknamed Sue — is the largest, most complete Tyrannosaurus rex specimen, and you can see it at the Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago. With some 250 bones, Sue is more than 40 feet long and 13 feet tall at the hip. The skull alone weighs 600 pounds. Scientists estimate SUE was about 28 years old when it died. A replica of SUE is also on display at Disney’s Animal Kingdom in Orlando, Florida.:
