Step 2 : Answer to the question "What is the world's most densely populated island?"

Santa Cruz del Islote, Colombia - While Java may be the world’s most populated island with 141 million residents, it covers an area of nearly 50,000 square miles. In contrast, tiny Santa Cruz del Islote in Colombia's Gulf of Morrosquillo is home to about 1,200 people in an area that’s less than the size of two football fields. That makes this island four times as densely populated as the island of Manhattan. Santa Cruz del Islote was settled in 1870 after locals noticed that it didn’t have any mosquitos, which is rare for the Caribbean. Despite the jam-packed alleyways of single-story houses, life on the island today is surprisingly peaceful. There are just two shops, one restaurant, a school, and even a discotheque. Most of the island’s residents work on nearby islands. :
