They come from sites such as the Parthenon in Greece, the Taj Mahal in India, Westminster Abbey in London, the Great Wall of China, and Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming. The stones are incorporated into the building’s lower levels, alongside plaques indicating their origins. The architects included them in hopes of cementing the new skyscraper's status among the world’s greatest monuments. :
